Champions Square At Caesars Superdome - New Orleans Event Guide

Venue Information

Champions Square, located adjacent to the iconic Caesars Superdome in New Orleans, is a premier outdoor event space that has become a staple for entertainment in the city. Opened in 2010, this vibrant venue hosts a variety of events, including concerts, festivals, and pre-game parties for major sporting events. Its strategic location makes it a popular gathering spot for fans and visitors alike.

The venue is known for its lively atmosphere and has a capacity of approximately 10,000 attendees, making it ideal for both intimate gatherings and larger events. Throughout the year, Champions Square hosts numerous events, particularly during the football season when the New Orleans Saints play at the Superdome. Ticket prices can vary significantly based on the event type, with concerts typically ranging from $30 to $150 and special events potentially exceeding these estimates.

Champions Square has received positive reviews for its accessibility and vibrant ambiance. Visitors often praise the venue's layout and the quality of events hosted here, making it a must-visit location for both locals and tourists.

Seating Information

The seating arrangement at Champions Square is designed to provide an engaging experience for all attendees. The venue features a general admission layout, which allows guests to choose their preferred viewing spots upon arrival. This flexibility enhances the overall experience as fans can position themselves closer to the stage or enjoy a more relaxed atmosphere further back.

While there are no designated seating sections, areas closer to the stage tend to offer the best views and sound quality. However, these spots can fill up quickly during popular events. Conversely, areas further from the stage may provide a less immersive experience but can be more comfortable during crowded events.

Parking Information

Parking options around Champions Square are plentiful, but it is advisable to plan ahead due to high demand during major events. The best parking option is the Caesars Superdome Parking Garage, located at 1500 Poydras St, New Orleans, LA 70112. This facility offers convenient access to both Champions Square and the Superdome, with parking rates typically ranging from $20 to $40 depending on the event.

In addition to the Superdome garage, there are several other parking lots in close proximity that offer competitive pricing. However, it is recommended to avoid street parking in the immediate area due to strict enforcement and potential towing. The venue's central location in New Orleans makes it easily accessible via public transportation as well.
